The National Office of Social Insurance (NOSI) and the National Social Security Institute of the Kingdom of Spain have agreed to implement the electronic exchange of forms and data in the field of social security

Today, June 17, 2026, as part of her working visit to the Kingdom of Spain, the Director General of the National Social Insurance House, Ms. Elena Țîbîrnă, met with Mr. Cesar L. Gomez Garcillan, Deputy Director General for Benefits Management at the National Social Security Institute of the Kingdom of Spain.
The discussions addressed issues related to the implementation of the Social Security Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the Kingdom of Spain, signed on July 21, 2022, and in force as of June 1, 2024, with a focus on establishing the electronic exchange of forms and documents between the competent institutions of the two countries.
An important outcome of the meeting was the MINUTES of the meeting between representatives of the National Office of Social Insurance of the Republic of Moldova (NOSI) and those of the National Social Security Institute of the Kingdom of Spain (INSS), in which it was agreed to implement the electronic exchange of liaison forms and the data they contain in order to reduce the time required to process benefits.
Accordingly, starting July 1 of this year, a new, more efficient mechanism for the electronic transmission of forms and documents between the relevant institutions will be implemented, helping to simplify and streamline the process of granting social benefits.
The parties emphasized the importance of digitizing processes and strengthening institutional cooperation to facilitate citizens’ access to social security rights and to ensure the effective implementation of the provisions of the bilateral agreement.
