Get your password for the “ACCES CPAS” electronic service conveniently and with minimal effort

What is “ACCES CPAS”?
“ACCES CPAS” is a technological solution offered free of charge by the National Office of Social Insurance (NOSI) to provide insured individuals with electronic access to the information held in their personal social insurance account.
Through the “ACCES CPAS” electronic service, users can check:
• Contribution history starting January 1, 1999: the salary reported by the employer and the social insurance contributions calculated and paid to the state social insurance budget;
• Employment history: work performed up to January 1, 1999, based on entries in work books scanned pursuant to Government Decision No. 426/2018, employment relationships (hiring/termination, suspension of the employment contract)
• Information regarding social insurance benefits established and paid by the National Office of Social Insurance directly to the beneficiary (pensions, maternity benefits, benefits for families with children, temporary disability benefits, unemployment benefits).
Once they have obtained a password, citizens can check from anywhere and at any time (via phone or computer) whether their employer is paying their contributions correctly and can verify their contribution period, which is subsequently used to determine social insurance benefits.
The password for accessing the “ACCES CPAS” system is obtained by the insured person visiting any territorial subdivision of the National Office of Social Insurance or the NOSI's headquarter with their ID, where the password for the electronic service is issued to the person upon signature at the time of the visit.
At the same time, NOSI reminds the public that employees can obtain their electronic access password to their personal social insurance account directly through their employer, without queues or unnecessary trips to the Territorial Offices of Social Insurance (TOSI).
This feature supports employees by transforming a bureaucratic administrative process into a simple and quick procedure.
How does the employer-based application procedure work?
To spare employees the hassle of travel and wasted time, companies and institutions can manage this process centrally:
1. Collective request: the employer submits a free-form request on paper to TOSI/NOSI's headquarter or electronically to the email address: cpas@cnas.gov.md. The submitted request must include the employer’s identification details (name, IDNO code, NOSI's code) and the contact information of the person in charge. The request does not require an attached list of employees.
2. Password generation and secure delivery to employees: NOSI generates access passwords under conditions of maximum confidentiality and security of personal data, and these are delivered directly to employees, against signature, by NOSI's staff visiting the requesting employer.
Advantages of the mechanism:
This method of distributing passwords offers major benefits for both employees and employers:
• Time saved: Employees do not have to take time off work or spend their breaks stuck in traffic or at TOSI's counters.
• Minimal employee involvement: Everything is handled at the workplace.
• Social responsibility: Employers demonstrate their care for their team’s time and comfort by facilitating access to an essential tool for financial transparency.
The ability to obtain electronic access to one’s personal social security account through the employer eliminates bureaucratic and logistical barriers, simplifying citizens’ interactions with government institutions.
Note: Individuals with an electronic or mobile signature can access their personal social security account instantly through the MPass government service, without needing a password requested from the National Office of Social Insurance.
