In accordance with the provisions of Law No. 121/2001 on supplementary social protection for certain categories of the population and to mark the 81st anniversary of the Great Victory over fascism, the National Office of Social Insurance has automatically established the payment of an annual financial aid of 30,000 lei for World War II veterans. 
The funds have been transferred to the beneficiaries’ social cards, into the account where they receive their pension, allowance, compensation, or other social benefits. Those who do not have a social card can collect the money at any post office in the country.
