A delegation from the National Electronic Social Security Fund (e-EFKA) of the Hellenic Republic is paying a working visit to the National Office of Social Insurance from March 31 to April 1, as part of efforts to facilitate the exchange of experience between the competent institutions designated in the Administrative Arrangement for the implementation of the Agreement on Social Security between the Republic of Moldova and the Hellenic Republic, signed on September 8, 2021, and effective as of January 1, 2023.

The visit is taking place to identify ways to ensure the electronic exchange of forms and data to streamline the implementation of the aforementioned Agreement, as well as to continue the dialogue at the institutional level.
During the working visit, topics related to the implementation and use of the EESSI (Electronic Exchange of Social Security Information) system were discussed. Experts analyzed relevant aspects of the electronic exchange of social security information, focusing on streamlining processes and aligning with European standards. They also addressed the challenges encountered during implementation and the solutions applied in practice.

A key highlight of the visit was a practical demonstration of how the RINA (Reference Implementation for a National Application) application works for the EESSI system, during which Greek experts presented the steps involved in its use, data flows, and mechanisms for the secure exchange of information between institutions.
