A cooperation agreement was signed between the National Office of Social Insurance, the ACLI Employers' Association, and the Partnership for Territorial Assistance and Consultancy on International Legislation
On February 3, during a working visit to Rome, the general director of the National Office of Social Insurance, Ms. Elena Ţîbîrnă, signed a cooperation protocol between the National Office of Social Insurance, the ACLI Employers' Association, and the Partnership for Territorial Assistance and Consulting on International Legislation.
The cooperation protocol regulates the procedure for cooperation between NOSI and the ACLI Employers' Association with a view to providing methodological and technical support to Moldovan citizens regarding their right to pensions and other social insurance benefits in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Moldova and Italy in the context of the application of the Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the Italian Republic in the field of social security, signed on October 31, 2024, in force since September 1, 2025.
With the entry into force of the aforementioned Agreement, citizens of the Republic of Moldova who have worked legally in Italy are entitled to old-age pensions, survivor's pensions, disability pensions caused by common illnesses, pensions and disability allowances caused by accidents at work or occupational diseases, regardless of their place of residence.
