From June 12 to 17, the General Director of the National Office of Social Insurance, Ms. Elena Țîbîrnă, participated in informational sessions with the Moldovan diaspora in the cities of Barcelona, Madrid, Pamplona, Santander, and Tarragona in the Kingdom of Spain.
During this period, various meetings were organized with the Moldovan community in these regions to disseminate useful information regarding the social insurance system in the Republic of Moldova.
In particular, Ms. Elena Țîbîrnă answered both theoretical and practical questions and provided individual consultations to citizens of the Republic of Moldova residing in Spain regarding social benefits granted to families with children, pensions and other social benefits, and the provisions of the Social Security Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the Kingdom of Spain applicable to Moldovan citizens residing in Spain.
Furthermore, during the working visit, Ms. Elena Țîbîrnă met with the advisor at the Embassy of Romania in the Kingdom of Spain responsible for labor and social security. The discussions addressed topics of mutual interest regarding the social security of citizens and the strengthening of institutional cooperation in this field.
